Well let’s see. Last week’s feature was Maggie and bulldogs. She is all set now with her own blog already sharing stories and sharing links 🐶 Good girl Maggie Mae, Mama loves you :-)!!
Now for the 3rd week feature: this one is a bit more complex! The feature is my Mom… Let me back up just a bit. My Mom loved to write. Her biggest dream was to write and publish a novel. She would of loved WordPress. I know her life would have been typing away and glued to the computer. She never did get to publish but after her passing I found containers and files of different writings and pieces of this, pieces of that.. Well, it is now a dream of mine that someday I can make sense of her writings, put them together and write for her… I am thinking of creating a blog just for this purpose, one that will allow her the honor of having a blog of her own. One, that if she was still here on earth, she would surly have!! Now she can write though me! I need to think a little bit more on this but that is the plan right now. So this 3rd week of the Newbie blog feature will encompass those ideas :-). I love you Mom and think of you everyday!! I miss you so much!! This I do for you :-).

Omg this is so very touching and I can see in your writing and your words just how much you loved your mother, And I’m sure that your mother is very proud of you .

What a fantastic idea. You are so lucky to have writings – so many of us do not get that, especially not in these days of email and mobile phones. 🙂

Now all I have to do is get the chance to read them and do it justice by putting it together in a way that Mom would like and approve of :-). After my mother died my sister found a diary. It only had short entries but really told a lot about mother that I had not known. All hand written. 🙂
Does anybody even use handwriting any more? 😦 I don’t even think it is taught in schools any more. 😦 Well, maybe. I was an elementary teacher and did teach it. Today I see people that don’t even hold the pencil correctly. lol

Nice!! That was quite the find, a hand written one too!! I do have a few hand written diaries that I have written in over the years. My Mom also taught school in Connecticut. Elementary and special ed. She loved pencil and paper!! Got to run, off to work. Have a great day 🙂

Sorry Swoosieque, I was a little pressed for time with my first reply. I was on a break at work! Anyway, yes thanks so much for your encouragement. My Mom has these boxes of writings, haven’t had the chance to go though yet, but if they bring some sort of knowledge of the things she wanted to write about that would be totally awesome!!
