Whew… I am really tired tonight, can hardly keep my eyes open! I wanted to at least post a little bit tonight as I have not had the chance to be on the blog in a few days. I spent the whole weekend Christmas shopping and doing decorations!! I am done with the shopping and finished decorating the tree this evening!! Working all week leaves little time or energy for doing much else so I am happy to have gotten this far!! Guess I just don’t have the same energy I use too.. getting old!! 😦
Only a few more days till the shortest day of the year!! I really hate that it gets dark so early, I think that is one of the reasons I get tired so early… Feels like 11pm when it is only 7p!! On the positive side of that the days will slowly start to get longer after the 21st… Wahoo :-). I think I’ve also gained a few pounds too!! With the weather changing and getting much colder comfort foods seems more irresistible and sweets are yummy!! Holidays… oh well, enjoy now and then back to eating healthy!! Think I’ll go grab one of those delicious homemade cookies right now!! Cup of hot decaf and a chocolate chip cookie :-)!!
