Sorry it has taken so long to get these promised pictures up. I searched my personal picture file and really could not find any good pictures. I will have to go out and do that someday soon! In the mean time I have gotten some pictures off the internet. The Whitefish ski mountain opened Saturday and winter season is in full swing. The Christmas lights are up, the local downtown shops are gearing up for the Christmas events and holiday shoppers and cheer is everywhere!!
First let me start off by showing you where I live. Way up there in the northwest, almost into Canada. You can see where the white sign is pointing too…
Here is our wonderful Big Mountain Ski Resort, all 3,000 acres. My daughter and her family are looking forward to this season, in fact they were up on the Mountain on Sunday to help celebrate the start of this season’s fun.

This is Whitefish Lake. The locals even do a Penguin Plunge sometime in the middle of winter… Brrr!! Over 300 took the plunge February 8 2014
It truly is a beautiful area and I am blessed to be here. Maybe I will be able to snag some festive pictures as the days move closer to Christmas. I hope to get the time in somewhere?? For now, enjoy your day and live your life in the moment with passion, love and kindness :-).

Thank you. You do live in a lovely place. It is so often the case that people do not like where they live and have no choice but to stay put. I crave space and need to be away from the crowds. I think I would like to live in Whitefish. 🙂
Oh, forgot about the snow. 😦 You don’t need to prepare the guest bedroom yet. 🙂

😊 maybe in the summer?? But the crowds will be here!! Lots of people are discovering Whitefish and its beauty!! Two more big hotels have plans to build !!! Oh well, nothing stays the same forever😪

If we drive into town after 2 or 3 days we always are commenting, “I haven’t seen that before”. Something new all the time.
Just get used to changes.
