On Friday I was nominated for the One Lovely Blog award by The Crafty Lady in Combat Boots. I would like to thank you for that nomination. I have never had this happen before and it feels rather exciting.
As a condition for receiving this award, I am to nominate my favorite bloggers and give seven facts about myself. I am new to all of this so finding favorite bloggers to nominate is going to take some researching. I am to tell each of them they have been nominated.
The One Lovely Blog Award nominations are chosen by fellow bloggers for those newer and up-and-coming bloggers. The goal is to help give recognition and also to help the new blogger to reach more viewers. It also recognizes blogs that are considered to be “lovely” by the fellow bloggers who choose them. This award recognizes bloggers who share their story or thoughts in a beautiful manner to connect with viewers and followers. In order to “accept” the award the nominated blogger must follow several guidelines:

1. I have 2 grown children and 3 grandchildren

4. I also love to take bike rides and feel the wind in my face
5, I searched for my father (whom I had never met) and found him for my 30th birthday
6. I discovered that I have 6 half brothers and sisters, I am the oldest.
7. I have learned a lot about life over these past 60 years!!!
